MagnaFlow is in stock in Canada from “HOT EXHAUST” Hottexhaust (https://www.hottexhaust.com/search.php?search_table_selected=magnaFlow_performance&search_query=%2219545%22+%2219578%22). There is a 20% discount for Labour Day which should help ya. Cheers!
This is a temping deal. I’d really like to hear some of these exhaust in person before I make the investment. I had a magnaflow on my dodge ram but can’t compare that lol.

The magnaflow price is easier than the Borla. I love the deep sound of the Borla but the magneto’s does have similar (totally basing this off YouTube audio though which isn’t ideal).

I bought Borla S-Type w/NPP and am having them installed on sept 3 when I’m back from holidays.

I opted for the Carbon fiber tips …. Once installed I’ll be at about $7500 all in.

I did purchase them in the USA, shipped to Maine (I have an address there) and ran down 1 hour and picked them up … in Canada the prices were even more ridiculous

videos incoming

My car was only 75k. Retarded...

My exhaust (including the NPP valve situation being resolved, pic below) is truly transformed ... Borla S Type sounds absolutely amazing !

NPP valve after “spot weld” (full open) overkill :) but they will never move and is reversible.

Both videos are cold starts, letting idle settle down, then some revs to 4000 RPM ..

Here is the before, stock exhaust:

Here is the Borla S Type:
After Borla Install

The difference to my ear is more subtle than I would have thought. Certainly volume seems the same. The Borla does have a deeper tone for sure.

Sounds great but I would hate to lose the NPP volume adjustment
I didnt lose it, I never had it. IT is only on cars ordered with the Performance exhaust i believe (or Z51) I believe you need the RPO code NPP. All along I "thought" i had NPP as the dash allowed me to change the mode & Exhaust volume. I just learned this whole time, it does nothing on my car, as there were no factory NPP valves on it, ever. I turned it up and down often, and believed it was changing. it was not lol. I BET there are lots of others who think they have exhaust volume control, when they actually do not.

If you have NPP, it will be retained with the new Borla exhaust.

So yeah, appears iPhones just do what they like so all audio is nice, peaceful and consistent ;)

Not a completely Cold start (warmish) .. but audio is a little better with macbook microphone. I'll bust out some of my macbook pro / Blue gear this weekend and see what I can record for something more realistic.

But it is a significant change, and sounds incredible.

I build these, They are 5K Candian, 304 TIG welded, hand built in the Maritimes, quite different than whats out there now. I agree with what people are saying about cat deletes though. Its definitely cheaper, and more gains to be had. I'll put a link to my Cat Back here just so see what people think.

Good job. Sounds great. No NPP for the Z51 cars? I like to see how the mufflers option with this system?
