C7 tach signal wire

Has anyone wired in an after market Autometer tach on C7? I need to know where to find a tach signal source that will feed the Autometer tach the RPM signal it needs I have looked around online but couldnt really find good solid answer so I ask here Thanks in advance

@Stingraystevo don't have a C7 so not much help to you with this. I do wonder if it would be worth contacting Autometer themselves for technical help. Someone there must have an answer for you.

You can generally tap off an injector to grab tach signal. It will be the "uncommon" wire on the injector (ie. each injector will share a common color on one of the wires, tap the opposite one).

Thanks guys. Yes I figured I could contact Autometer support n they probably be able to help me out As for for injector wire has anyone actually hooked up a tach using this wire. I have also read that can can use a purple wire off coil #7 but nobody has actually confirm that they have successfully wired a tach and explained how so I will dig a little more before I attempt Thanks again
