Now that I have started experiencing a few DIY-type services - Torque Vales are hard to find so I am starting this thread for reference only.
Note: you are not to take any value as being true for every condition.
Torquing requires a precision tool that must be calibrated for being true. Using the correct tool is also required and set correctly for an in-lb or ft-lb value. Therefore the use of any information posted in my thread will be entirely at your own risk. (Holy crap … I’m starting to sound like my lawyer-friend)
This thread is for C7 purposes only please. For other C-Gens, please start a new DIY thread.
A8 transmission pan gasket bolts 80 in-lb (up to 8 ft-lb)
A8 transmission pan drain plug 18 ft-lb
M7 drain plug 20 ft-lb
Rear diff drain & fill plugs 18 ft-lb
GM manual states 20 ft-lb
Oil Filter 22 ft/lb
Oil Drain plug for both wet & dry sump 18 ft-lb
Brake bleeder fittings 80-100 in-lbs
