Price drop of ~3k for anyone interested......

Like that price drop must have happened when I was there today. I was checking it out in the showroom while waiting to take care of some other business. Wow ... it’s only 0% financing away from being an awesome acquisition. This pretty much throws in the carbon65 add on with a discount on top of that (just waiting for someone who is OK with the feature - as yes, it’s not everyone’s choice).

Yes I’m still amazed that car is not sold long ago. Wow 😲

Some might say the Carbon 65 too but I know there is still one Brand New one that remains available today.
There are very few Canadian A8 Convertible Carbon 65 Corvettes - rarest of all the combinations in Canada of the Carbon 65.

I looked at the Carbon 65 yesterday as it sits in a friends garage. He traded a 2014 grey conv for it. Very nice.

I Liked Black Rose so much that I traded in my 15 Night Race blue and ordered a 17 Grand Sport.

My wife said I can trade the 2016 as long as its for a Grand Sport in Black Rose. Well that shouldn't be too hard to find in a used car!
I may need help on this one.

Don't have the numbers for 2017 but in 2018 there were only 53 Grand sport coupes built and 25 Grand sport convertibles built in Black rose. In Total only 219 Black rose Corvettes in 2018. 92 Stingrays and 49 Z06's.

Final Black Rose production #'s from the Museum:

2017...

Stingray...448 coupes...96 convertible.
GS...........345 coupes ...120 convertible.
ZO6........261 coupes.....63 convertible. Total 2017.....1333

2018...

Stingray...75 coupe...17 convertible
GS...........53 coupe...25 convertible
ZO6........37 coupe....12 convertible Total 2018....219

A total of 189,507 C7's built

Lime Rock Green...............1566...0.83 %
Black Rose ...219+1333= 1552 . 0.82 %

Colour is not broken down on the export #'s.

Canada recieved 2268 cars in 2017 and 587 cars in 2018.

2018 was a short production model year and I think Black Rose was discontinued before the new paint shop opened.

So if you look at it percentage wise, I would think there would be maybe 30 cars in Black Rose in Canada. ( 0.82% of 2855 total 2017-18 models imported to Canada. )

2017 was a higher number as it was the first. I only need 1. Big issue is out of the total, how many ended up in Canada?
Canada got 587 Corvettes in 2018 of the 9686 produced.
150 Stingray coupes
34 Stingray converibles
131 Grandsport coupes
44 Grandsport convertibles
170 Z06 coupes
58 Z06 convertbles.
If Canada got the same percentage of the Black rose color as were produced (.226%), we got 13 or 14 Corvettes in Black rose for the 2018 model year.
using the same logic for the 2017 Corvettes 32782 produced -1333 in Black rose (.407%) 2268 Corvettes shipped to Canada x.407% = 92 Corvettes in black rose for 2017 model year in Canada.
That being said , who knows for sure.
