I can't believe the replies of some people on forums... I would think people who come on forums would be car buffs and therefore like tuning and making their cars original. It's not safe, it's too dark, it's illegal, the insurance company will get you, bla bla bla. I'm sure Jake took the opinion in the spirit it was given: with no malice and from the heart and you can bet in a very helpful way.
In case you didn't know, we're all expected to act in a proper way and not promote illegal activity including mods that may prove illegal and dangerous.

Whoa! Slow down there DJGold. We are all car buffs and enjoy our cars to the fullest. Everyone here is only offering their input on a given subject, nothing more. The last time I checked it is a free country so I guess those who have given us their thoughts here are entitled to do so. But then, I guess you feel it is safe to blow by people on the right at 150 even though the posted limit is 100?

Thanks for bringing this thread back to a civil manner. Please refrain from insinuating what others do with their cars or making judgement on how they drive or act. I understand that if someone does not like what a person has done with their car and mentions it, it is difficult not to take offense so do take care with how you phrase any dislikes or disapproval's please as others can't read tone or intent. Questions about safety or why something was done is fine, however, how it's written does matter. Perhaps the comment about making the car less safe could have been phrased a little differently but as stated and what I know about the member and comment that is upsetting some other members, I seriously doubt it was meant to slander or insult.
Keep up the great posts everyone and thank you for your understanding! It is great that this is the most drama this forum ever sees as I see so much more happen on other forums that it makes me wonder about the intelligence of our continent sometimes.
