2007 C6 Twin Turbo
I didn't have a great deal going on this weekend and wanted to see how I would do fabbing up a rear mount set up for my C6. I seen a video of a rear mount C5 taking off on the hwy and it really motivated me. Got most the hot side scabbed together. Here's where I'm at with it. 58mm turbos, 38mm wastegates and a 50mm BOV. I'm already laughing at track officials when I trap 130mph and claim to have just bolt ons. Really they are just bolt ons.......

Did more tweeking on it for fitment.

Still need to do some more tweeking on it

To be honest Im not 100% sure. Really its not ideal for a daily driver. Everything in moderation right. But Im thinking if the turbos are not red hot (and they wouldn't be if its raining cause you cant drive the car hard) then it should be okay.......

Sounds good and although I have nearly zero knowledge on turbos, I'm sure they are designed for a whole bunch of different conditions. The system looks nice. I like the idea of the turbos in the back as it keeps the front weight down.

Wow

I once watched a video of a TT Corvette. It could have been a C5, not sure. The camera was set up showing the gauges, the driver nailed it at a roll of ~30 mph .... it was absolutely insane! My clutch (memory) is slipping but I think the car was dyno'ed at 900 hp or something ...

Riley, Phobia could use some weight in the frontend to hold the tires on the ground. :D

Phobia, I'd sure like to see your car at the 2015 Ponooka cruise. :)

Thanks guys. Dick you guys will probably see me I. Alberta a few times. I go to Calgary a fare amount. I finished the cold side last night on this. Next to measure oil lines and the rest is history.

Steve, you have to post a video or sound byte of what this setup sounds like. By our discussion this morning I want to hear your vette sound like a jet fighter!
