Hey guys...
had the car at the track yesterday... :cool gleam: what a blast!!!
It was kinda warm out and I noticed that I lost some feel in the brake pedal half way through the session. From the research I've done it seems that this problem is not likely an issue with needed to bleed the brakes or needing stainless steel brake lines but that the brake pads tend to "taper" on these cars if they get really hot. The brake force is still there but the pedal has to go down much further than before.
So what do you guys recommend for pads? I'm not sure which pads are on it as it's been 3 years almost and they were done when I put the drilled rotors on.
Obviously, given the opportunity I would track the car but next year Race City is shutting down and the track in Edmonton isn't going to be ready.
