Cruise C5 sale

Bill, is that not the valet from the restaurant you guys go to?

Not sure what to say, just cannot see abusing a car like that.

And that my friends is the 1% that labels the other 99% of us.

I dunno guys. I don't believe any listing on a sports car that says "never abused". People don't buy sports cars to never be abused. Now, your definition of "abuse" may be different than mine, but don't ever tell me that a car has never been floored, run to redline, squealed a tire, or such crap.

I appreciate the OP's sense of humor here. It's funny. And as far as abuse, well, he wasn't particularly nice to that brand of tire, and shoes on the seats is worth a cuff up the ear, but I wouldn't call that car abused.

It's been "funned".

lol.... different strokes....

I have definately seen never abused in for sale ads.

Bill
I have as well Bill. And I do agree with Jeremiad.... to a point. I tend to doubt when the ad says never abused, never raced, lady driven only, never driven in the rain, no liens, always kept in a heated garage.... etc. etc. etc.... And I agree with Jeremiad that different people have a different definition of abuse as well.... I do think the guy in the video was having fun.... but I also think he was abusing the car.... A few more burn outs, especially the rev it up and dump it on dry pavement, and the next guy who owns it will wonder why it has so much play in the drive train and clunks every time you put it in forward and reverse... If you can afford the tires and the repairs that will eventually accompany that kind of fun, enjoy yourself. But don't tell a prospective buyer of your car that you had a lot of 'fun' with your Corvette without being honest and telling him what your definition of fun is. He may not have the same definition of 'fun' or be in a position to pay for someone else's type of 'fun'. Just sayin'...

His car so I really don't care what he does but what bothers me is he and his passenger at one point, sitting up on the back of the car (cruise control?). Someone gets dumped out and then the problems start. Sadly it will probably involve everyone else including those who may be standing around "social media" gossiping.

Agree Murray. I have a cousin who fell off the tailgate of a half-ton at her country grad party. She hit her head and was blinded for life. I'm sure she thought it was 'fun' right up until that moment.

Im amazed when I see C5's do that stuff. I couldn't do that in mine without the drivetrain trying to shake itself out the back of the car.

I have a 2000 C5 that has not been abused and it has been owned by me since day one (female). No wonder people are nervous to buy used corvettes. The car has been driven by me only and this video is a good example why only I drive it.

Hey Chief, welcome to the forum, you should do an introduction for us. Everyone likes pictures so fire away.

Congrats on the ownership of the C5, I have owned mine since new in 03. Like you I have never abused mine and never driven it in the rain or snow. Well maybe once.

Again welcome.

Hi Chief. This C7 is my second Corvette and like Murray, neither my C6 or this one were ever abused. I have to admit that I have been caught in the rain though.... and the C7 was pulled out of my nice heated shop last winter so I could host a New Years party.... yes.... it broke my heart to do that....lol.... But i digress.... A second welcome to the forum for you.... Start a thread in the 'New Users' section and post some pictures of your ride too... that's where lots of members will oohhh and ahhhh over your car....

Hey Eric what is with the "Amazing New Penile Enhancement Cream" ad on the bottom of your post?

lol.... did you read it all Murray or just the five words in pink.... hehe..... It won't stay there long
