As most C4 owners know, you can’t buy the “breadbox delete” panels that incorporate a glove box any longer. Just out of production.
so I’m building one. It’s been going on in my 88 corvette thread.
Now I’m looking to add a “dash plaque” to it to give it a little more oem feel. The plaque is the one used underhood:
It will need a little freshening up first.
I can’t decide where to put it in the door though. Possible locations:
The panels themselves are going to be painted the same color as what you see in the center dash panel.
The best spot I think is under the vent on the rh side, but it’s pretty tight in there. If the door was another inch wider, it wouldn’t be a problem. If the vent wasn’t there, I would pop it in the far right corner and call it a day. but theres just not enough room to make it look right.
So, what do you think? Where should the plaque go?
