Anybody know if a 68 - 72 c3 with a manual transmission has a bolt in or
welded in transmission crossmember?

68 - 72 Corvettes with a manual trans all had weld in cross members but if someone converted an automatic to a manual trans the car could have a bolt in cross member. I have seen a 68 that was an automatic converted to manual trans, they had cut the top of the trans tunnel to get the shifter to fit there will probably be other clues that could help determine what trans the car was built with.

It is welded if it was a manual. Sorry for the grainy pics!
