C-8 Corvettes

I missed out on ordering a 2020 C8, but noticed in Auto Trader there are quite a few used 2020 Corvettes all low millage and asking from $125,000 to as high as $ 138,000 for a 2LT Z51 package. It appears some just buy the 2020 to make money on them. As much as I would like to get one, I'm not that interested to pay those prices. My question to you King Tut is, if ordered a 2020 my December what are the chances of receiving one my May or June? Thank You

6 allocations per cycle with 2 cycles per month
144 C8s :) I'll take one If my dealer pushes my order to 2022

Obviously I have no idea what I'm talking about. Can someone who does confirm

Wish GM would send out a few demos so we can physically see what were buying

There are no more MY2020's available. There are allocations to be had for a MY2021, but they are drying up also.
If I was GM and I had some idea of how many current orders there were I'd know when to end MY21021 and start MY2022.
But they don't so they don't know when they will start MY2022's. IF (big if) Covid doesn't delay them any more than it has already they could build close to 30,000 or so by the end of August. They may well extend the MY a month or two into October or November. Either way there is still a good chance of getting a C8 at MSRP next year. It will be either a 21 or a 22 depending on when you get in line.

There is going to be 1 cycle per month for 2021 corvettes, same as it was for 2020. Next allocation cycle is Dec 10

W/N has a C8 that you can physically see, sit in. It’s white, 2lt with z51. Reach out to Jeff Moore

Dealer " We received 6 C8 orders for November Cycle 1. (2 cycles / month)"
Announcement - 2021 C8 allocations now being released to dealers
Dealers get allocations for most gm cars in 2 cycles per month, but corvette allocations come only in the 1st allocation cycle of each month.

i also predict there will only be 7 allocation cycles for the 2021 corvette, and production will end at the end of Aug-start of September

it also worries me that a dealer who has around 55 people on their list, that received only 43 allocations in 2020 and has not received any allocations in the 1st allocation cycle is offering for people to get on their list with very poor chances to be able to deliver a 2021 manufactures year car.

Not to mention that that number (43) is the shortened to 19,629 C8's!
2021's are expected to number 30,000 at least. So that increases that 43 number to more like 65 for the 2021 MY. GM might also release allocation numbers for the calendar year like they did before Covid hit. That way the list of C8's a dealer could sell in the calendar year would also increase again to around 90. Then they wouldn't have to worry about the MY change persay.

We don't have our allocation from GM yet, and we are in the mid fifties for orders now. We had 43 allocated last year, hope for more this year??

Weird... King tut said they don’t have any allocations from GM, yet Andrew Spencer posted that they have 6. So we have 2 people from Bill Spencer posting different info?

I don’t doubt that they did get 6 allocations. But my concern is if they continue to get 6 per cycle X 7 cycles, they will get 42 cars (close to 43 they got in 2020)
