Well, that is cool, however, as stated that is a chunk of change for something you have to do yourself. Sort of like paying extra to cook your own food at a restaurant. But what a restaurant!!!!

Friend of mine did the engine build program a few years ago. Says it was the best experience and worth the money. You even get an engine plate with your name on it to put on your engine plus you get to have some quality time with the engine builder who guides you through the build. Yes it seems like a lot of money but having a hand in putting your engine together has got to be quite a thrill. Consider doing it if you have the time and desire.
