I've got so much bubble gum carnuba applied that the bugs hit and slide right off. They don't even splatter. They just pick themselves up and fly away.

I live near the border so I drove down just south of the border and picked some up. The place had actually brought it in special for me. Good service.
By the time the exchange was paid it cost approx. $30cdn
