Blower fan problem

Ok I have a 87 corvette and yesterday I can hardly get it to blow heat ? You can hear the fan cut in at about 6 on the digital display and when I get to 10 it's not as strong as it should be and basically you can hear it surge in speed like its trying to blow hard but can't ? There is heat coming from the vents but not like normal. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Shane; Welcome to the club.
This sounds a lot like a bled door problem, and from what I understand it is a common problem on the c4's. I don't know the answers for you right now, but will try and see what I can find.
Just on my way out the door. I'm sure some of the others here may be able to point you in the right direction.

Now then Shane.... you do have plenty of coolant in the rad... right?

Yes I have checked the coolant it seems to be fine. There is heat from the vents just no force to it ?

Problem solved. Went to the garage today the old fan was finished put a new one in and all kinds of heat blowing now
