Well, i was told by an online retailer thier black friday sales were going to start this friday past.

Here it is the next monday and....nothing.

Normally, not a big deal, except this retailer sells the TIG I need to start building both my “ultimate TPI” intake and the modified LT1 intake.

Sooooo frustrating!

Yeah, I know: first world problems. I just needed to vent...

😜

Now what are you going to build?

Need the big TIG in order to modify my TPI setup and to build the L98/LT1 intake manifold.

I plan to port out the lower intake manifold on the TPI, which means I have to add material to the rooves of the runners and raise the injector "bungs" about 1/4". That will allow me to port out the lower to take advantage of some 1.75" runner tubes. The upper plenum will get some additions to increase it's volume. As it stands, the upper plenum is too small to feed even a healthy 350, let alone one that has been breathed on or punched out bigger.

The LT1 intake requires just as much (if not more) work. I have to graft on the rear portion of a lower TPI manifold, cut and raise the TB mounting point and add water coolant passages/thermostat housing to the front. Lastly, I have to build the mounting points for the EGR. Big project, lots fo fab work. Probably take a year or so to get that one done.

What else? Well, with a good AC/DC TIG that goes from 5-250 amps, the list is nearly endless......:)
