You need to assess how important it is to you to get it as soon as possible or from a dealer that you can build a relationship with. You need to ask how many allocations will they get for 2021 vs. how many people are already in line with deposits. Going to a high volume reputable dealer will not get you a car as soon as possible if there are many many people in front of you. The online configurator can assist you in building your car as you like and the pricing is there. Then you can simply shop for a dealership that has the best ratio of orders to allocations. Again you have to ensure they are honest and I am not sure how you do that. Certainly those here on the site are committed to the Corvette Community and will likely give you the honest answers but that does not mean you could not find a situation that may get you a car faster from another dealership with allocation but not a top ranked vette specialist. Given what my dealer has told me, 2 years sounds about right. Given that 20K 2020 orders were pushed back to 2021's then that only left an available 20K for existing 2021 order intakes. The 2021 year is likely sold out already. Not saying for sure but likely. Best of luck and the car is well worth the wait in my opinion.
