Just bought 66 that sat for 40 years in guys garage-396 car. Have 65 Coupe 327 just finished.
65 could be a original BBC car; looking for tips that could verify original 396 car???
60 psi gauge and rear sway bar-more ??

Hi. This might be of some help. Look for the engine block stamping and try to compare it to the transmission number to see if they match. There is a graphic in the attached showing where the various engine stamping are located. Might tell you something, though honestly l’m just guessing.
