The interesting thing is that the Red Beauty is actually a 1/8 scale model by Monogram. Clearly this was built by an advance modeler. It is stunning in detail and with the right photography it is difficult to tell it from its full size cousin.

Different Beauty. Talking with my pal Graham who is into collecting cars. He just got a couple of Lola T70's. So I thought this picture of the Penske/Sunoco Donohue/Parsons 24 Hours of Daytona winner is a worthy one day distraction... Donohue put together some incredible racers...

1/32nd scale that look awesome on my slot racetrack.
To me the LOLA T70s & PORSCHE 917s real 1/1 cars represent the epitome of racing design and competition.
