This roadster has quite a racing history...

Bill Jobe's 1964 Fuelie SCCA B-Production racer known as "Supernova".
After spending its first years as an autocrosser, Bill race prepped and entered it in SCCA National road race competition in B-Production, a class at the time dominated by Shelby GT350R and small block Cobras.
In 26 SCCA National races its record was:
First Place - 18 times
Second Place - 5 times
Third Place - 3 times
NEVER DNF'ED A RACE
SCCA B-Production National Champion FOUR consecutive years 1969-1972.
