How convenient to get pulled over right in front of the courthouse...Pay the fine and be on your way in minutes.

That's the way they do it in the states. It was along time ago (college days), but during a trip to Florida, my friend got pulled over for speeding. The officer took his drivers license and ownership and said "follow me." He took us straight to the courthouse, and , once there said "Its $25 (back when a case of beer was only $5) , pay now and go, or, you can argue with a judge. He'll be here in a few hours.. maybe."
