i've always wanted a corvette, now my son(20) buys an 01 z06 from south dakota and picks it up himself. nice car! i'm pleased he didn't go with a ricer. he said i could drive his. i hope so, it's in my garage! lol still saving so hopefully next year is my year.

Ya I got lucky too. I bought my '73 about 5 years ago when I was 21. I had wanted one ever since I could remember so I am glad the right deal came at the right time for me.

I bought mine because my dad had Corvettes first. It doesn't usually happen the other way around. Awesome.

Good luck with your search. There are some great cars up here in Canada but the selection in the States and prices are hard to compete with.

did he have any troubles at the border? did he drive it back or trailer it back?

no problems at 10 minutes or so on each side. trailered it because of the weather and roads.

oh okay, i have never brought a car back from the states so i thought i would ask. i'd probably do the same thing and trailer mine back if/when i bought a car.

well in the summer i would definately drive. he bought from a dealer so he had a permit for the US side and he would need a permit for sask. once he hit the border. i went to birmingham alabama with a friend and this is what he did.
