Five of us (all members here) are heading to Arizona next Wednesday.
This is another item I've always wanted to check off the old bucket list.

It's definitely on my list of to-do's, Mark , but getting away is so difficult for me.
I'd love to go. For now I'll have to make do with the 40 hours of live coverage.

Playing it safe. Didn't buy the $500.00 bidder pass, Only the spectator pass.
Plus my wife has glued Velcro on my hands and in my pockets.
I might fall on my face if I trip, but I wont be able to pull my hands out of my pockets to bid.

From what I've seen, it would be very difficult to not bid on some cars.
I can see myself getting in deep kaka if I went there.

HA! Good ol' velcro! Quite funny. I was at the Barret Jackson in Las Vegas a couple years ago. It was great but the rumor was if you are going to see a BJ auction, the Scottsdale one is the one to see!

I don't know how many have been watching, but there has been some real deals and some that are out of sight. This afternoon the first production ZR1 serial # 1 60th anniversary 427 convertible is going to be sold so that will be worth watching. It will be interesting to see who's garage that ends up in.

Yes some of the BJ pricing is way out there but some is more affordable too.
I've seen quite a few I could live with and a decent price.
Good thing I'm not there.

I hear ya-- that's my problem too now: very shallow pockets especially after my latest acquisition ('11 GS).

Great to watch tho -- I'm wondering what our friend (O) Mark will bring home.
