Anyone modded their Z06 yet?

Interestingly enough I asked Davenport Performance about a throttle body " upgrade " to go with the Corsa Extreme exhaust and cold air intake install and they said they don"t recommend it because their Dyno numbers don"t justify the cost . Which I thought was pretty honest on their part . Have you actually seen testing that showed an increase in HP ? You would think more air , so add more fuel . In this case they suggest not .

I dont think anything on a c8z dyno numbers justify its cost. 5g for exhaust for 5hp , 4g for eventuri intake for 5hp .....Tony Mamo is a great guy , ive had his products on an 02 ws6 , c6z06. Had soler tb on my c7z07 nothing but a flat spot and stumbles. Mamo gets my vote all day. If you look at LMR packages they include them in the stg 1 and 2 pkg and say they are worth it. Stg 2 LMR package 760hp ..... each to they own.

Net gain with bolt-ons for the LT6 aren't that desirable. However, under the curve/mid range gain is where you see the most power. This has been documented. Now as for selecting bolt-ons brands, that is where I had to shop for value. People can spend how they want, it is their $ and is their choice.
My headers, hfc and exhaust is less than what one can pay for just headers alone.

Can't wait to get these Chinese made bad boys in my hands. Heatsheild comes with it. I am hoping that I don't need to use the 90 degree 02 extender for clearance. The location of the bungs seems to be at almost the same location as the oem but are further to the center than some of the US made cats.
I would love to support local but these are without the "Corvette tax" and worth giving them a shot in my view. My exhaust is from overseas as well and it seems to be working pretty well. My complete system is less than one of those super duper brands on this side of the ocean just for their headers.
I try not having to pay or pay less of the "Corvette Tax" if I can.
Will see if these 400 cell non GESI cats can keep the CEL from lighting up. Time will tell.
