I will check them out. Never heard of them. Thank you.Have you looked into the Mamo throttle body? I used Soler on my C7, great item, no issues but I did research the Mamo afterwards i though it may have been a better option.

Soler took note of Brandon's Garage who did flow testing of the MAMO vs the Soler 91mm's which were not a true 91 but a 91 effective. Since then they have just released an improved version of their throttle body that is a billet piece that can be anodized black for better looks and is a true 92mm. The flow rate is 1200CFM which i think if i remember right is a 5% to 6% increase on the effective 91mm's and if i'm not mistaken now just barely edges out the MAMO's.Have you looked into the Mamo throttle body? Thanks for the info. I contacted Tony Mamo via email but did not get a reply. I guess I will also do soler instead. to answer OP's original thread question i myself will be doing the following bolt on's and no hptuners even though i have the MPIV interface for my other frankenstein build project car but want to keep my extended warranty intact by leaving factory tune alone.
1. Eventuri intake (tried contacting paragon and eventuri if they would ever do an abs opaque cover and/or carbon flash option with bubble shield since i don't care to be flashy on intake either if it saved a grand or so but no dice, no response; and i couldn't live with spending 60% of the cost for sub par gains compared to what eventuri is known for mid range power bumps)
2. 92mm anodized soler performance TB's
3. unobtainium welding gesi 85500 sport cats
Gonna do my own HPtuners logs on 3rd gear pulls noting temperature and humidity conditions and plot this baseline in virtual dyno, then do sport cats and do pulls again and log, then do intake with throttle bodies for final logs. all logs will be done on the same flat road in the same direction.
i'm not a youtube channel or vlog or anything so i just can't justify the time in solely doing TB's versus solely Eventuri intake since likely if you dug into the depths of youtube you could find this done by someone. Its mainly for me and my own verification of how my machine has changed by now doing bolt-ons and just willing to share the results.
i'll likely start my own thread for when i start this adventure since i believe it could be useful to other z06 owners.
Cheers.
The Soler new 92 mm billet looks good. Thanks for the info. I contacted Tony Mamo via email but did not get a reply. I guess I will also do soler instead. Looking forward to your build.
Interestingly enough I asked Davenport Performance about a throttle body " upgrade " to go with the Corsa Extreme exhaust and cold air intake install and they said they don"t recommend it because their Dyno numbers don"t justify the cost . Which I thought was pretty honest on their part . Have you actually seen testing that showed an increase in HP ? You would think more air , so add more fuel . In this case they suggest not .The Soler new 92 mm billet looks good.
All true, but the Corvette tax on the C8 is like no others. Maybe true for LT2, but more gain for the LT6. The C8 is expensive to mod what ever it is.Interestingly enough I asked Davenport Performance about a throttle body " upgrade " to go with the Corsa Extreme exhaust and cold air intake install and they said they don"t recommend it because their Dyno numbers don"t justify the cost . I was referring to the LT2 Stingray only . Don't have an LT6 ....not yet.All true, but the Corvette tax on the C8 is like no others. Maybe true for LT2, but more gain for the LT6. The C8 is expensive to mod what ever it is.
Sounds reasonable . Regardless , the air/fuel ratio is what counts I believe .Couldn't speak to any gains for lt2 on its throttle body.
Lt5 gains 15hp at its highest but not sure at what rpm. It's further compounded (not multiplied) when teamed with eventuri of which the combination of the two drop peak torque from 6800rpm to somewhere around 5500rpm?
