I doubt you can transfer OEM heat shield. I would think some shielding is necessary unless you want melted bumper

Been doing a fair bit of research on this during the last hour or so and from everything I can find it doesn't appear to be an issue. General consensus from several sources say the oem shielding in the areas around the exhaust are more than adequate. Temperature sensors placed in a variety of locations back there showed exactly the same temperatures with both stock and aftermarket exhausts.
