Thought this pic was interesting with the Railway Signage, thinking it is probably Buffalo, New York. There is also signs for Lake Ontario cruise ships, they are supposed to return this year to the Great Lakes after years of absence.

Good observations Black. Lackawanna, NY is just south of Buffalo.

So glad you posted this clarification to Blacks pic. On first glance I thought the sign said Nickel Rate and I'd have lost sleep trying to figure out just what you'd ever get for a Nickel at a rail station(LOL).

The Fort Wayne Historical Society run excursions with the Nickel Plate Railroad's 765. A number of years ago we took a trip around the "Horseshoe Curve" in PA behind that engine. Great day only disappointment is we saw very little of the 765. We were on a Norfolk Southern main line so even when we stopped for lunch they had to move the entire train to a remote siding.

It is an amazing piece of engineering in the mountains of PA. Thanks for the pic Peter.

I think they just unloaded it and are just waiting for the train to move so they can flip it onto the wheels.
I think you are correct, baggage handling 101 or
" Is that a new truck?".... "No... it was a new truck." (English 101)
