Our Royal Hudson in a picture that brings back memories for me.

1st is the cell tower that I helped build in the 80's is to the right.

2nd and more exciting is the train...In the 70's I was a telephone repairman working at the top of a pole right next to the tracks in West Vancouver.

Along comes the Royal Hudson steaming away.

The ground and the pole shook and I could almost reach over and touch the train.

Unfortunately I didn't own or have a camera with me.

2860 is now part of the rail museum in Squamish.

I would really like to know just how much visibility they had. The engineers window is just so small.
