Supposedly crashed at the race track in Edmonton and no insurance coverage

Most people that track their cars aren't insured, same thing for Spring Mountain lots of students on the hook for first 10k USD. In my group of 18 students in the more advanced lapping classes, very few took the optional insurance to lower deductible to I believe 1500 USD

I looked into insurance for racing at the track a few years ago it was 650$ for a weekend. That’s why hardly any purchases it.
