Aftermarket Nav updates for 2020 to 2023 C8

I use WAZE. Far better. Constantly updating with police radar locations, construction zones etc.
I use Waze as well…but the speed limit on dashboard and HUD come off that SD card. If it ever gets accidentally ejected the speed limit stops working. Would be handy to get updates to the maps on that SD.
Google navigation included with Android Auto in the 24 at least , uses data from WAZE as well . In real time . Seemed surprisingly accurate last road trip I took .
True, but mine is wired so I don't use it.
It's on the signs on the side of the road as well!
Funny, my 2020 doesn't have it on the HUD. Only the dash.
They are also rolling out the biggest update in years to the appearance of the maps which are now 3D . Looks a lot better.

The HUD has different display options, not all of them include the speed limit so I am guessing you have one of those display options selected.It's on the signs on the side of the road as well!
Funny, my 2020 doesn't have it on the HUD. Only the dash.

So I ordered a new maps card from Amazon:
SD Card
Today I swapped out my old card for the new one. Started it up and....nothing. Everything worked same as before. Odd. On my second trip up pops a message saying I have a new SD card and it will bind it to my VIN. I confirmed the message and then...nothing happened. Maybe I have to drive around more before anything gets copied over. But the Nav does work, so far.

Update: I've gone on a few city drives and so far no further messages from the Nav system. It continues to work but I don't notice anything different. The one spot I knew for sure had wrong speed limits continues to show incorrectly. Maybe the files on my card are just a copy of what I had before. I will report back when I have some further info.
