After two years..

My 2019 Grand Sport was black. Looked fantastic after it was detailed. Looked better than anything on the road after it was detailed. Drive it for 20 minutes and back to the shop to be detailed. I promised myself never again.

Your experience may be different…..

FYI your car looks great and congrats!

I've obviously biased, since my 2023 C8 is my second black vehicle...after vowing never to own one. Having said that, I don't mind a bit of road dust or rain splatter on my black vehicles...I drive them daily once I unpark them for the driving season and I'd go insane trying to keep them spotless all the time, even with a ceramic coating and a heated "water-proof" garage (raised perimeter lip; sealed with epoxy coating; trench drain) that's set up for washing vehicles inside. Yes I like a clean look, however I enjoy driving them (especially my C8) MUCH MORE than worrying about their appearance or what others think about them. I think it's a car and should be driven. So please forgive me if you see a "dirty" C8 driving around the Edmonton area.

Just to clear up further.. the cover is the $500+ GM embossed one for C8s, and was the salesman's personal cover for his 2023 Z06, which he has in his own garage for the winter at home! So I think it just was not put on the car perfectly, or someone lifted an edge for a sneak peak. :)
There's no doubt that it's a pricey Stingray cover. But it's pulled taut from the mirrors forward.
I'm pretty sure you'll find that it fits the straighter front bumper of a C7, as opposed to the outward "V' of the C8. I believe the salesman will confirm when you see him.
