Well... The maggot turd from down south has done it again.... The madman pulled a 1930 tariff act out of the cobwebs....An act that has never been used by any president ever.... An act used against a country that discriminates against US goods.... With that in hand he has now levied a 50% tariff against Canadian goods including: paper products; cement; wood products; dairy, honey, essential oils, hockey equipment and several alcoholic beverages.... Interestingly, he exempted oil and gas; electricity; potash; critical minerals; and seafood. The things that the US depends on Canada for interestingly enough get a hall pass. And this new 50% tariff totally overrides the CUSMA agreement.

Perhaps it's time (actually it's well pass the time) to flex some Canadian muscle, get the elbows up past your hips Mr. Carney, and make the US suffer. Shut off the electricity to 7 northern states that rely on Canada to provide power to 6 million homes and businesses; close the valves for oil and gas that the US only turns around and re-sells for enormous profits; Stop shipping potash and let their crops wither up and die; No critical mineral delivery; Make them catch their own fish. Lets inflict this pain this for say....a month, and see what their waste of skin and oxygen president has to say about that when his entire population $hits on him even more. Maybe someone will finally have the balls to shove his excuse for a human being into a casket, and start healing their country instead of letting it rot any further.

It'll hurt big time, but lets do it.
DS may not be happy about it though.
Stripping their liquor from the shelves seems to have hit a raw nerve. They need the sales to Canada.
I almost puke everythime I have to buy groceries that are from the USA

Not to his son and the rest of the family. For example his son bought Dell stocks 2 days before Dell was awarded a government contract. Bought oil just before he invaded Iran. The list goes on. Trump has profited hugely from his presidency which goes against the morals of the population. etc. etc.

Perhaps if we had a different government. Obviously. Because that's not the kumbaya Liberal way now is it . At some point you have to stand up to bullies even if it hurts or they will continue to push you around. And we do have considerable leverage as you have pointed out. Past time to use some of it .
Just saw yesterday an announcement by Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua stating that the country would no longer be holding elections. Trump admirers his type . I wouldn't be surprised if the Turd administration isn't trying to come up with a way to do the same if it wouldn't result in a Civil War. It's all getting rather surreal.
I'm beginning to wonder if come winter and the fires have gone to sleep till spring if they will look at additional tariffs if we continue to allow the Polar Vortex to cross the border ....... it has just about gotten that absurd. And yes, I second your pine box idea . If only....
