A Sucker Punch From Your Neighbour/Friend? (US/Canada Trade War)

Ya, I agree it would be impossible, but I meant there is no logical reason why it would be bad for anyone. Take Britain for example.. With their strict gun laws there murder rate is much lower than the U.S. and much lower by gun. I do agree that we should resolve the source of crime and violence. That should be first and foremost.

Switzerland has a relatively high gun ownership rate, with estimates suggesting around 27.6 guns per 100 residents, but it also has a low homicide rate, which is often attributed to a strong culture of civic responsibility and effective gun regulations
I like their chocolate. Their cheese, not so much…

Bright until you get to this quote from the woman with the Orange Ape's hand up her a$$

Responding to the first ruling, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Judge Alsup of singlehandedly "attempting to unconstitutionally seize the power of hiring and firing from the executive branch".
She said that power rested with the president and "singular district court judges cannot abuse the power of the entire judiciary to thwart the president's agenda".

"The Trump administration will immediately fight back against this absurd and unconstitutional order," she added.

I’ll bet that the almost China level of public surveillance cameras has a lot to do with it. It’s apparently almost like that series “ Person of Interest “ . Which at one time I wouldn’t have agreed with but in this day and age if it cuts crime and violence and saves lives it’s hard to argue.

I bet they don't have car jacking and shooting from 1.3 billion people like what we have in the GTA, and alot from repeat offenders? lol..
We protect the criminal's right more so then the victim's. And this is how the far Left pisses off the Right. And the Right voted an ignorant con man to be their voice in the USA.

HA ! thats a good one .... when the demon administration is guilty of pissing and sh&*ing all over the constitution not to mention the laws that they are breaking .... that hopefully will be uncovered and have them all found guilty of treason ....

In North Carolina, judge Allison Riggs ...

I have absolutely no problem with reasonably intelligent people carrying hand guns, registered or not.
The problem I do have is that there seems to be a drastic shortage of reasonably intelligent people.
But unfortunately not of illegal hand guns…..

Don’t hold your breath on that one…..

Where the heck did they get their ammunition ? We should give them a call……
Stock up now. I was at my shooting sports store this morning. Reps from Federal and Winchester met with him last week and advised they are unable to get ammo shipments and what he has in stock is it for who knows how long. Now I'm going to sit back and watch the movie Red Dawn again.... :Pistolsmiley: hahahaha.....

This from a US independent news source.

The March 14 protest outside the White House wasn’t just a rally — it was an emotional battlefield. Veterans, activists, and public figures gathered to demand accountability, voicing their anger, frustration, and resolve. The air was heavy with exhaustion, but the crowd's energy was undeniable.

The day opened with Cliff Cash, a comedian-turned-activist who launched straight into a verbal brawl with Trump’s legacy.

"This coward draft-dodging bone spurs orange-faced traitor in our White House demanded that Capitol Police remove the magnometers so that his mob could get inside with their guns. Don’t ever forget that."

Cash’s fury turned to mocking when he reminded the crowd that the so-called “elites” were nothing special.

"If you think that they are some other echelon of people, they’re not... Lauren Boebert is not smarter than you... Mitch McConnell is sure not more courageous than you... and if you didn’t have a spine, your neck would look like that too."

Next came Jessica Denson, a former Trump staffer-turned-activist, who delivered one of the rally’s most powerful calls to action.

"We are going to demand, starting right now and never letting it go until it happens, that every constitutional means be used immediately to remove Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Elon whoever-the-hell Musk from power."

Her tone shifted to defiant optimism.

"We are going to shine so freaking bright that they won’t know what to do with all the light that we bring to this country."

Denson also addressed the mounting controversy surrounding Trump’s rumored KGB codename, ‘Krasnov.’

"We’re not going to let this squatter in the White House — Mr. Krasnov Bone Spurs — overrule the sacrifices of all of you for our Constitution."

But it was Harry Dunn — the former Capitol Police officer who stood on the front lines of January 6 — who delivered the rawest, most gut-wrenching speech of the day. He opened with an admission that cut through the crowd like a blade.

"I had a PTSD attack on the way in... The last time I saw everybody like this, they were beating the s**t out of me and my co-workers at the Capitol."

Dunn’s grief shifted to anger when he reflected on the failure of institutions — and voters — to stop Trump.

"We had an opportunity, and you know what? We fucked it up."

Yet Dunn’s closing remarks weren’t just about regret — they were a plea for action.

"What we need right now is a lot of people — a lot of somebodies — to do something to save our country."

The next speaker, Big Sarge, the Sons of Liberty leader, opened with a blunt admission that set the tone for his fiery speech.

"I said I wasn't gonna swear... f*** it."

Sarge didn’t hesitate to address Harry Dunn directly.

"We all look like the people from the January 6th insurrection."

It was a jarring acknowledgment of how extremist groups had twisted the image of veterans and soldiers. But Sarge made it clear who was really to blame.

"Nobody is coming to save you but you."

Next came a Navy veteran whose words detonated across the crowd.

"Donald Trump, this is a message for you: Quit kissing Putin’s ass."

He didn’t stop there.

"You're a pathetic disgraceful excuse for a president... JD Vance, you don't belong there either, you eyeliner-wearing little bitch... And as for you, Elon Musk, take a hike. You’re just a rich prick that came from South Africa — get out of my country."

The language was raw, but the fury behind it felt earned.

Later in the afternoon, Michael Ember, a former VA policy advisor, painted a grim picture of the damage unfolding at the VA.

"The VA announced last week they want to fire over 80,000 employees — which would essentially gut America’s only public healthcare system... 17 veterans die by suicide every single day. We've gone through pains to get that number down from 22 a day... And now they want to rip the rug out from under us. We won’t take it."

Ember’s frustration boiled over as he voiced his own exasperation.

"They're really fucking with my pursuit of happiness."

Susan Schnull, a Navy veteran and longtime peace activist, brought the rally back to its core message — the obligation America owes to those who served. Her words were a call to conscience.

"Anytime a country decides to send its people to war, it has the obligation to prepare for those who return from war."

She closed with a vow.

"We will not be erased."

Richard Allan III, an 80-year-old veteran from Charlottesville, Virginia, staged a powerful act of defiance outside the White House. Using a pipe device around his hands, Allan locked himself to a metal post in a dramatic protest. The message scrawled across the pipe read:

"King Trump and Pres Musk are killing veterans."

Allan’s protest was deliberate and calculated. Wearing a worn army jacket and a faded ball cap with military pins, he knelt in front of the White House fence, clutching the cold steel post as police officers formed a line nearby. His face was lined with age, yet his voice cut through the noise with the clarity of a man who had seen too much and refused to let it continue.

A crowd gathered as Allan sat stoically, refusing to move. Onlookers whispered anxiously — some murmuring admiration, others concern for his safety. The police hesitated, perhaps unsure how to handle a man whose frailty belied his defiance. For several tense minutes, Allan refused to speak. Then suddenly, he turned to the crowd and shouted:

"Don't you stop! Don't you fucking stop!"

His voice broke with rage and desperation. It wasn’t just a plea — it was an order. A demand from a man who had given everything to his country and was now watching it unravel.

As officers moved in to cut him loose, Allan shouted again — louder this time — as if sheer volume alone might make his warning stick.

"If you stop fighting, they win!"

The crowd responded with a deafening roar. Chants of "Do your job!" rang out as Allan was carefully lifted to his feet and escorted away. The tension hung in the air long after he disappeared from sight.

In that moment, Allan became a symbol — not just of resistance, but of the heartbreak that drives it. The fury, grief, and desperation of the crowd fused into one singular message: America’s fight isn’t over.

The 64 dollar question is what will be the final straw that sets of a Civil War down there . When you look at what took place on Jan 6 , and the number of guns floating around and the not inconsiderable number of really right wing groups and private militias it wouldn’t be that surprising.
And yes most of them are probably MAGA but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t go after the left if they felt that their Orange Grand Wizard was threatened.

Ya know .... we are in 2025 ..... talk of civil war ... WW3 .... countries illegally invading and taking weaker nations ... how is this even possible ?

All these corrupt world leaders talking tough knowing full well that they have their billion dollar bunkers that they and their coward cronies can retreat to when the big one drops ... while all the civilian population are just sitting ducks ....

Gives me comfort to think that there are very special corners of hell reserved for these a**holes ...

We are and have been forever in a world where the majority of Countries and people thrive on violence and war. Look at the Arabs.... Burning flags, shooting into the air, stoning or killing wives when they burnt supper... Russia...Wanting to rule Europe and imprisoning or executing anyone who criticizes the government.... It's no surprise given Trumps actions that he would and is trying to fit right in with them. We have led a sheltered life in North America.
Up until now that is.
I would say God help us, but if there is a God up there I would also be afraid he/she might just look down, shake his/her head and clean the earth of everyone, and start over.
