I just watched a commercial from Disney resorts offering Canadians 25% discount. Snowbirds are going to find it tough if they go to retinal scans and fingerprinting for stays longer than 3 months. Wouldn't catch me allowing them to do that to me. I'd winter in the Bahamas instead! lol

Have to agree. Lots of polish but very little spit ....going to be interesting when the budget FINALLY is tabled . We may find out how accurate the polls are.

What we don't want is a Liberal majority with Carney. The Cons might get some concessions with a minority. I'm ok with waiting a little longer, but there are too many losing their jobs.

We are very lucky we are no longer caught up in the rat race . I'm afraid it's only just begun. I feel for those worried about their job and trying to make ends meet given current conditions. At least the BOC dropped the rate another 1/4 point which will help some people. On the other hand Tech stocks are on fire !

A tougher road ahead which I predict once CUSMA expired not because what is was said in the vid. Trump and his bunch will use all the leverage to hurt our economy which we aren't prepare for. I hope that is not the case but all signs are pointing in that direction sadly.

CUSMA is history and if we the public, business and all levels of government are not ready to accept this fact, then we are in very serious trouble. What are seeing right now is only the opening rounds testing us.

Might not be as bad as a lot of pundits would have you believe. Remember the old journalistic adage " if it bleeds it leads " and most of them have no clue . And yes it won't be Canada or Mexico calling the shots but the fact of the matter is that CUSMA has been beneficial to all parties. Turdump knows he's not taking ov er Canada anytime soon . Regardless of the pressure. I'm not saying it will be a cake walk but it won't be the end of days either.

True . Let's hope for some positive results from the Midterms . Although he can do a lot of damage between now and November 26 . And eventually the slug will be gone.

Again I hope you are right but there may be other that will take his place with the same odjective now that he has all those MAGA minded idiots in place at each level of government. Things we couldn't have imagine has and is happening. I do hope I am wrong.

Which I find interesting because I don't subscribe yet can read the entire publication without a subscription regardless of platform or browser. Only one common denominator which you can probably guess. Actually when I tap the above link it takes me to the full article. Interesting.
If you couldn't read the article how do you know what the comments are ? Even though I can read all of the articles I can't ever see the comments. And yes , it's an opinion piece. Show me one that isn't......I think that " probative value " is most frequently applied to the relevance of evidence or perhaps testimony relating to a legal proceeding rather than an opinion piece . Any article with facts without opinion. There are millions of those. I think they are called "News" articles.
