Yes, a tariff is a cost, no matter what is coming out of the whitehouse. Tariffs lead to higher prices, but on the other hand, lead to the loss of manufacturing right here in North America, since, even with a tariff on an imported product, it likely is and could be much cheaper than anything that can be produced in North America. That would lead to loss of jobs here at home, and this has occurred here for decades. The white house is using this ploy, as a reason to put tariffs on the world. Make it a home, yes, but at what cost.

Good video. Now we need Carney to come to the plate with China. His weak swings at the bat with the US to save our economy haven't impressed most Canadians. He has a chance now with this at least..

Made their Chinese cars here albeit a little more msrp then those from China because of wage parity. At lease maybe use Canadian made Battery at lease?
A plant that are being build in Ontario. Perhaps we can use turn the table and learn from their techniques and learn from what works for them and build our own cars eventually?? Like what GM did with the LT6 and mid engine C8 from the 458?? Don't forget about the tarriff on Canadian seafoods that China slap on our fishermen because related to this or steel as well?

Let us not forget the Huawei CEO being arrested on Canadian soil because of the American request not too long ago. All for nothing but cost friction with China not of our making but that Orange Donkey's first administration. Now he has stated that he is using economic tool to hurt us and kneel before him.
We have to be smart and wake-up. We have been kick out on our own now, time to be on our own and build our own house. lol..
