Another good day, ill have to slack a bit since my back keep me awake, but i love working with metal. I installed my body mount, welded the underside of the rail completely, then made the cap at the end. And i made and installed part of the crossmember. Now if any one has a picture of the corner brace my corner will be a lot more solid than it was

I just tuned into your project @pauljboudreau. That is a huge undertaking, but very impressive work on rebuilding that frame. You will have a very nice machine once all completed.

Today i fixed my rusty body mount , i plugged the hole where the strearing box dimple was, i made the cross frame brace at the body mount and i welded my piece in

Actually at the front crossmember, wondering how to make the coil spring seat again, i can see the end of this side of the frame, feels good. Also capped the underside of the motor mount. Now at 101 hour 33 minutes

Coil spring pockets rehab today, not as nice and flowing as the original but the seat is in the same spot, so it should work. Got a few more soft spot fixed. Tedious work

Finished the front frame horn, capped it! Welded a few factory hole and started removing stuff to fix the back part of the frame

Today was really slow in the shop today, my back is really stiff. I am a little bit more advanced on my project. While surfing TikTok i found a video on how to control weld spatter, it is simply about 3 table spoon of murphy oil soap in a spray bottle of water, works well and it smells great in the shop!
