Hi all, i am working on this project that was started by someone else , and i am am at a point that i notice that maybe the front clip was installed not exaxcly to the right position that should. Bow the doors gaps are eather to tight on one side or to wide on other !! I am looking for someone to fix this problem. I live near Alexandria, Ontario. So anywhere between Ottawa, Cornwall to Montreal Qc
That could help me
I do have tones of pictures, and car is running but not plated
Thanks
Dan

What is the gap around your hood when fully closed? When I got mine the previous owner had not properly glued the passenger fender panel on correctly. To make the hood fit better he slotted the hinges. Quick fix, mallet to pop the bond (inside engine bay) and re glue properly. This also affected the door gaps. Once the front fender was properly aligned the door gaps are adjusted by tightening or loosening the upper and lower bolts on the hinge. If your hinge is worn out replacements are available.

Sorry can’t help you with a rec to a shop in your area if you have someone else do it.

Thanks for your help, Door hinge been rebuilt, Hood not installed yet. All new aluminium body bushings where installed but only hand tight the Bolts.

Looking at your gaps, it has always been my impression that this type of gap is indicative of your car having seen a lot of hoists. It all boils down to your frame being bent Not too much you can do . You can only go so far with the hinge adjustments. Show me a 45 yr old corvette that has not seen a lot of hoists. Anybody else have any feedback on this?
