6.6 L GS?

Question becomes what happens to the 6.2l market and specifically 2026’s pricing ? One would expect a softening unless GM continues to throttle back production to avoid an oversupply while some wait for the 2027 with the new 6.7l. Plenty of cars on the used market in Canada with a lot more new and used in the US.
There are two new engines coming that will also debut in the Silverado for 2027. The other thing that nobody seems to be talking about yet
is that there is an across the board price increase coming on all GM vehicles this Friday and another price increase on freight charges.
Unofficially the price increase is being blamed on Aluminum costs.

Have there been any years since the C8 was introduced where there wasn’t a price increase?

The stingray likely bumps up to 535-550hp with the 6.7 and the GS near 580-600hp is my guess.

I have no skin in the game but if it makes 580 hp + 155 from the electric motor, the Eray will be make a combined 735HP. No so attractive for a 55 hp less and than a more expensive Z06?
Unless there is alot more in that LT6 that they can extract? 530-550hp would be the max from the LS6 that make sense in the C8 lineup. And they need to extract a few more hp from the LT6 to keep it competitive in the lineup.
