5 speed

Hi Guys! I have a 383 stroker engine. This will go into my 1969 vette. I am looking to purchase a tremec 5 speed ..... The rear end is 3;35..... Any thoughts....

talk to tremec for a couple reco's, they won't steer you wrong, enjoy the stroker they are a great engine albeit a bit thirsty, mine averages about 7 mpg

Just curious what version of the 5 speed (what is 5th ratio?). Should ride nice. I am putting a 6 speed in my resto-mod. Hoping for some sweet cruising when it is done!

Also is your rear end actually 3.35? Not that it matters in the slightest but std for these vettes was 3.36.
