That's a good move not only will you prevent fires but if you get caught out in the rain you will not spray down your brakes with dirty water and grit from the road or God forbid small rocks and gravel . l knew those vents were coming off my ride last fall .

I am going to regret asking this question, but how does an air deflector, out in front of the wheels and that is 2 inches off the ground, pick up rocks and gravel? How do these same deflectors cause fires?

They fill up with s**t that gets ignited by super heated brake pads there was a U-Tube video that showed it happening a month or so ago. And how is it that you get rock chips on your car 6 inches off the ground but not get any crap getting sucked in at 2 inches. You must drive in a bubble my friend

Settle down boys it's just the back ones that caused a problem front are fine. PDI says front to be installed, rears for track only.
