With all the news about the coming 2027 Grand Sport and the official announcement being imminent,
If anyone is interested in getting an early allocation this year, reach out to me as I have offers from
dealers that I sent members to in the past that will be able to help.

My english isn't too good but if I understand correctly, the grand sport isn't a rumor but a fact? any details available? 6.7L engine? Since I saw the unofficial rendering from Vengeance Graphics, I dont know how close to reality this is but it sure hit me hard, awesome car, I dont realy like white corvettes but this artic white car with the hood, carbon flash stripes, the habanero pinstrips and habanero / black interior.... wow, just wow. I'm in love. Of course mine would be convertible

It's NOT official. It has NOT been announced. There IS a part number for the new engine, but it is still just speculation it will be in a Grand Sport. Even the Grand Sport is speculation. If it is going to be announced it will likely happen soon as I understand it.

I’d be interested in knowing more about the process, specs and price.

I am on the list at two dealers for a C8 GS. I think that might tell us something? At one I have actually given him my tentative order.

More grist for the rumor mill.........

I don't put information out there without double confirmation from my sources. I have had information about this car, new engine and other hinted items for over 2 years now which I have been telling members on a one by one basis who have DM me about it.
What my post means is that I know of early ordering availability for the first allocations once they are sent out to Canadian dealers.
If anyone wants one of the first Grand Sports in the country, I can help make it happen just like I did for members with the Z06 and Stingrays.

You can put out all you want to. I said it's not official and it isn't. Until it's official it is speculation.

Sounds like the basis for a friendly wager.........Hmmm....how about the winner gets to see one of these on the others arm ? Lol.

I never said it wouldn't happen. I said it's still speculation. GM is removing all the leaks from the parts books etc. We don't know what it will be or when or even IF until it's announced by GM.

I would speculate it's more likely than not going by history not to mention hype demand and of course profitability....

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport nameplate has appeared in production models across six distinct model year periods. Production Grand Sport Years -These represent the officially released Corvette Grand Sport variants available to consumers: 1963 (C2 generation, limited prototype/race cars, though sometimes counted in histories). 1996 (C4 generation, 1,000 units as a farewell edition). 2010-2013 (C6 generation, four model years combining Z06 chassis with base power). 2017-2019 (C7 generation, three model years). Total CountAdding these gives one year (1963) plus one (1996) plus four (C6) plus three (C7), for a total of nine model years featuring a production or special-edition Grand Sport. Note that some sources list the early 1962-1963 prototypes separately but exclude them from consumer model counts. No Grand Sport has appeared in the C8 generation through 2026.

Ya, From all the noise, I'd agree. If I was running GM, I'm not sure I'd do it. What I'm wondering, is if they introduce the GS with a new engine is it going to really diminish the value of the Stingray. So I wonder if the new engine will be introduced in the Stingray for '27 as well. I believe it's happened before with the Stingray /base Corvette

That wouldn't surprise me if the new Stingrays got the same motor . Although they usually but not always got the same one. As for diminishing the value of preceding Stingrays I don't think so if for no other reason than the likely price difference. Like numerous products there's always something new and improved just around the corner. Interesting times in the Corvette world.

No, the Corvette Grand Sport did not always share the same engine as the Stingray from the same model year. C6 Grand Sport (2010-2013)These models used the LS3 6.2L V8 engine, producing 436 horsepower, identical to the Stingray's base powertrain in those years. C7 Grand Sport (2017-2019) Equipped with the LT1 6.2L V8 at 460 horsepower (or 455 without performance exhaust), matching the Stingray's engine exactly. C4 Grand Sport (1996) Featured the LT4 5.7L V8 with 330 horsepower, whereas the Stingray used the base LT1 5.7L V8 at 300 horsepower—distinct and more powerful. Earlier Prototypes (1963) The original Grand Sport racers had custom all-aluminum 377ci small-block V8s, far from any production Stingray engine.
