2026 Interior.

I want a pony, but that's gonna happen either...
Thank me later….

I have very mixed feelings. I like the extra screen, and larger screens (although that will depend on how they're utilized). My wife will like the grab handle. I don't like that many of the hardware buttons have disappeared and can only be found on the screen. Seat heater and ventilation, HUD controls (I don't change the layout often, but change brightness whenever I go from daylight to nighttime) are now software only. A giant step backwards in usability and safety. And now the passenger has to reach over the "mini-wall" and around the angled dash to change their settings. That's really not very user friendly. ( I can hear it now: "Honey, would you turn on my seat heater." "Please turn up the temp over here." "Turn off the DAMN seat heater, my butt is roasting!" Not thrilled with the open cupholders, but don't hate them either.

For the most part, this is a solution in search of a problem. They could have updated the screens and phone charger without getting rid of all the hard buttons. And if getting rid of the wall of buttons was really important, they could have done it a lot better: The C7 had the passenger HVAC controls on the passenger dash. They could and should have done that again. Put the passenger temp and seat controls over there. That would free up two buttons under the screen. Instead of two buttons for temp up/down, and two more for fan up/down, those buttons could have been toggles: pull up for higher, push down for lower. That would have freed up 2 more buttons. That would leave room for the driver seat heat / vent controls and the air direction controls as physical buttons. GM cheaped out and used controls from the parts bin, instead of doing it the right way.

Thanks for getting the thread back on topic…. ;)

The size of the screen isn't as big a deal when you have SuperCruise and the car is driving itself on the highway... :) Lots of time to look over at the screen and adjust things.

That said, I like the foot pedal dimmer switch. I agree, bring that baby back.
Seems the same only different , lol. The new screen on the left isn’t going to be very easy to see while driving. Nice to get rid of the annoying flap over the cup holders though. I probably close the damn thing half a dozen times every drive.

Here's a video and description of the interior.

Oh Oh, it looks like this version will be easier to go quarter mile racing, with that left screen. :Hurray:

Shoulda bought a 2020. ;) I hear no noises except the radio.
Another reason not to let the engine lug . Once you are over 2,000 rpm you don’t hear it either but you do going slowly in traffic for an example. I suppose a nice aftermarket exhaust would probably cure it as well. Hmmm ………

LOL! Thanks Jack! ;)
I watched a review of the 2026 Corvette which I can't believe they even have out there this early however I did notice the tower of buttons as they say was gone and in my opinion it was one of the coolest things the car had now it looks like the passenger will have to lean over and push buttons under the screen for seats and temperature etc I'm not sure about that some cars put a screen on the passenger side all I can say is I'm happy I have a 2025 and in the video of the new one that had carbon fiber handle where the roll of buttons would be and they handle for the passenger to hold on to but it was all carbon fiber so don't tell me that comes standard God knows how much that carbon fiber piece is going to cost
