Ya, you said that. Just thought I'd mention that the pictures seem to be of a Z51.I did not order one.
Here is another option we have been discussing where you don't drive your car but an insured one on the track as there is no track insurance available in Canada.Thank you all for the nice compliments.
As you may have guessed, I am new to this forum and one of my biggest question is how do members get to track their cars?
I am insured with CAA and when I added the Mustang they added a racing exclusion which I am sure they will add to the vette as well. Their rates are great though.
Congrats on the car Dave and welcome to the forum! Glad your no longer a lurker and have chosen to join us. Hopefully you were able to gather information here to help with your decision and you will be able to drive your car soon. It seems like all of our weather is behind this year with the seasons not cooperating but your all set for the summer. Let us know if you have any questions.First post on this forum...I have been looking at C8s for a few months now. Noticed that used prices seem abnormally high. My research (on this board, other boards, and Youtube) led me to be VERY concerned with proper maintenance done on used C8s...especially where the DCT is concerned. ANYWAYS, my local dealer has (had) 3 2026 cars on for very good pricing. There is definitely $5k off from GM and some pretty deep dealer discounts. For basically what most 2-4 year old used cars are going for around here, I purchased a brand new C8. It's been snowing here on and off still (central Alberta) so I am not taking delivery for 2 weeks.
