2024 Stingray GM Employee Pricing Starts Today!

The correct answer is “a lot more”. Canadian dealers with Eray inventory have a problem and are not happy, in other words they are hung with this C8 hybrid version. Running production constraints cannot fully explain the 1417 total MY24 production. With its unique features the car has yet to convince the masses of its virtues. While the same dealers are now letting 2LT & 3LT trim SR’s go with discounts widely ranging from $10,000 to $15,000+, you should think of doubling that $10K figure or damn close. Especially if you find one spec’d with your name on it. P.S. a lease is a lease, but if you plan on buying an Eray 1) money should have little meaning and/or 2) intend to own and enjoy it for a good while because resale value will be shocking.

I take it you are not a fan of the E-Ray?
I'm guessing this is because you have never actually researched it, or owned one, or are you just following the Z06 masses?
Your adamant statement regarding the resale value is absurd - you have absolutely no way of knowing.
By the way, as an E-Ray owner, I do appreciate the value of money (just so you know).

Interesting....you can no longer isolate the 1LT, 2LT and 3LT cars using GM's "Inventory" search anymore. LOL.

Just searching for Stingrays from 2024 its showing 177 cars still remaining. I suppose you can use the low $100k or thereabout marker for a 1LT and knowing 2LTs and 3LTs are higher priced. Last time I checked there was only 1 1LZ car in Ontario and it was an E-Ray not a Z06.

I should have been a little more specific. Say a low spec 1LZ/2LZ in Ontario? I am assuming with a high spec car that you would get a greater discount? Would a similar discount apply to athe Z06 as well?
When I was looking for a 1LZ I was seeing discounts on 2024s from $4k to $8k depending. I'm hearing and seeing those same discounts now on 2025s.

Its standard practice now in the USA that you can get almost any 2025 Stingray at $10k off and Z06s at $5-10k off. US inventories seem huge right now...

If one can get a good discount on the 24' low spec and had a budget, it makes for a very attractive option.
That's what I did. I've got the most basic Stingray ever (only two options were Transparent Roof and Perf Exhaust). Really enjoying it on the winters...LOL.

Vehicles thats don't sell well new generally also have a poor resale value down the road too.......

Don't confuse availability with not selling well.
With the economy as it is there are lots of high-end cars out there to be had.

The fact that the E-Ray has a select audience (in comparing to the Z06) is of no surprise to me.
Most Corvette owners, I believe, desperately want that noise of the Z06's flat plane crank engine (I'm not among them).
The Hybrid aspect of the E-Ray, I believe, is a tough pill to swallow for those that grew up with the 'purity' of 100% ICE muscle cars.

My opinion (note that I don't adamantly state 100% correctiveness as some do) is that the E-Ray will gain in popularity.
As this seemingly never-ending push for more power continues, the Hybrid has provided an impressive resource.

As for resale values, while I don't really concern myself, I do believe the E-Ray will hold its own.
Personally, if it came down to buying a 'used' Z06 vs E-Ray, I would still be going the route of the E-Ray, but that's just me.

On a side note, if and when my allocation comes in for the ZR1, I will be keeping my E-Ray - presumably they are good in the snow too.
