Previously the excuse was GM just could not do this with Corvette due to the shape and height. And a dubious claim that C8 driver were very "engaged" so did not require/want these features.

I for one am glad my 2023 doesn't have that stuff. Anything that takes control of the brakes or steering will never be on a car I own. Or at least permanently disabled. Just my 2 cents.
