It reads properly. Each "customer Z06" is checked over and held for at least 2 weeks to make sure there are no issues requiring a tech to fix. They prefer to do it there than have a dealer do it. They do that with every new release. It happened with the Stingray coupe and HTC as well.
 
Hmmmm... I wonder what checks they do for 2 weeks on every car that comes off the line and sits in the storage lot... :Ack2:
They don't check them when they sit, but they wait until many have gone through the line before shipping. They've done that with every new Corvette supposedly. I know they did it with the Stingray coupe and then the HTC. I think the mandatory Stingray coupe hold was like 4 to 6 weeks. It filled the lot before they started shipping.
