2023 Z06 Production Will Start The Week Of Sept 12, 2022 (date updated)

Scrutinizing each customer? Are they worried if we are flipping the cars? I really what is going on? Is it a part shortage or something else?

It reads properly. Each "customer Z06" is checked over and held for at least 2 weeks to make sure there are no issues requiring a tech to fix. They prefer to do it there than have a dealer do it. They do that with every new release. It happened with the Stingray coupe and HTC as well.

Probably want payment from the dealership first before they ship. The costs for the Z06's are crazy!

Hmmmm... I wonder what checks they do for 2 weeks on every car that comes off the line and sits in the storage lot... :Ack2:
They don't check them when they sit, but they wait until many have gone through the line before shipping. They've done that with every new Corvette supposedly. I know they did it with the Stingray coupe and then the HTC. I think the mandatory Stingray coupe hold was like 4 to 6 weeks. It filled the lot before they started shipping.
