2023 Z06 Pricing Speculation.

The US is getting first crack at the Z06. Canada, well GM will throw us a bone. I think many dealers will try to get top dollar. Supply and demand is what it's all about and the demand is high. This car will be somewhat limited in that the engines are hand built. Unless GM get more techs building them, they'll only be able to put out a few cars daily, keeping supply tight.

You’re probably right about GM throwing Canada a bone or two. If I have to bare the shame of being seen in my Z51 for a couple/3 years, so be it.

Important things to ask what number you are on the list, how long is the list, and how many C8s allocations they get per year. Most dealers in Ontario have 3-4 years waiting list

Yes, bought 7 cars from them .... not all at once.

No, different sales person each time. I was not happy with the sales guy when I bought my C7 though. Dealt with the sales manager and owner and any issues were resolved.

The C7 Z06 engine was hand built and they were doing 45/day so about 9,000 plus per year...

Hey folks, new to the forum... put my deposit down yesterday on a C8 Z06, tentative delivery sometime in 2023. No idea on pricing yet.

Which dealer? Realistically dealers have all had waitlists for 1-3 years now. Hate to say it but if you just put a deposit down you are not getting a first model year car more like 3-5th year.

Like pretty much everyone here, I'm REALLY impressed with the Z06 - it's the closest I'd be able to get to a supercar under $250k BUT knowing how much demand there is & the supply/production constraints, I'm having a hard time even mulling the possibility of going on a waiting list... just to get a C8 it will likely be just over a year for me... given that the Z06 will have a much lower production, I'm think I'm just gonna pass altogether... and even if the base pricing comes out at around $100k for the first year release, by the time I'd be eligible to get one (realistically I'm thinking at least 3 yr wait if I were to go on a list today), the base price will have increased substantially, let alone all the options.... I could easily see a modestly equipped Z06 (eg 2LT equivalent w/ some options) running around $150k+ in 3-4 year time... think I'm going to have to sit on the sidelines for this one.

Why all this "doom and gloom"?

As I posted elsewhere, 2 of the 3 dealers in my City (Edmonton) that I contacted a few months ago are selling the Z06 at MSRP. I'm on a list with one of them (#16). The dealer I bought my C8 Stingray from in Calgary, is selling at MSRP and has confirmed same in writing to me, back in December 2020. They previously gave me the same written confirmation for the Stingray. I'm #5 on their list and expect/hope to get one first-round, unless (heaven forbid) these COVID delays continue. I think there will be many Canadian and US dealers selling the Z06 at MSRP. Sure we'll have those who ask for more and us buyers have only ourselves to blame for fostering that. We need to shop around and reward the good dealers with our business. Those more reliable dealers will continue to sell any GM product at MSRP (maximum) since they value their reputation and customer base and make their profit at MSRP and know people have long memories, IMO. I'd be very surprised if the dealer sponsors on these Forums don't follow suit. Perhaps I'm a "glass half full" person but there's my 2 cents.

Was lucky enough to be on holidays in New Smyrna Beach Florida when the local GM dealer had the Z06 showing for one day. Not my favourite colour but overall it was nice. Talking to GM rep he indicated this loaded Z06 would probably go for around $ 130,000 a lesser example around $ 95,000 these prices are approximately the cost. This dealer also had about 5 C8s for sale all listed at a premium price of $ 37,000 over list so if you don't mind paying that they were ready to go.

Try $87,000 US for the base model 2023 Corvette Z06.Canadian dollar up a bit to 79.30.Keeping my Stingray and waiting for all the future models to come out.
