I'm thinking about buying a new Z06, Vancouver BC area. Looks like there are some very good deals to be had at the moment due to current supply/demand conditions.

However, browsing through dealer inventories, there aren't too many I would be interested in, especially since most of the Z06's have automatic transmissions, and I'm looking for a M7.

Would be interested to hear what kind of discounts might be possible on a special order?

My current wish list: Blk/Blk 2LZ, M7, with standard pearl nickel-painted aluminum wheels.

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions/recommendations you may have.

Thank you

Welcome @Avro71 ...
Any dealership should be able to browse thru all of GM Canada inventory.
Have you tried them yet, or searching on your own.?
A friend recently ordered a new GS. Said he couldn’t find exactly what he wanted available.
I would suspect that buying from a lot would be cheaper than ordering, but i’m No expert.
I think if you are prepared to purchase than any dealer would be ready to talk.
Nice choice... good luck with your purchase.

Get the 3LZ is the first recommendation. Agreed on the M7. And try to find one with all the body options you want as they are pricey to put on later. If you want Stage 3 aero... you can find good deals on Z07 cars too. Black/Black with M7 loaded is hard to find, although YVR is one of the most likely places to find one.
Mine I had to bring in from Ontario to Alberta as there was only 2 in Canada at the time that matched my required configuration. Don’t worry about shipping it. I managed to cut a deal where shipping was split 50/50 with the dealership. Car is shipped in a closed trailer so all good.
Also plenty of good low KM used ones around with warranty. Big savings there too. I bought 2 of them prior to my new in in 17. No problem with any of them.
Hope you find... “the one”

I would look at cars outside your province as well. Just have it shipped to you. Dealers sometimes help you with shipping and can get you a better rate.

Why do you suggest the 3LZ over the 2LZ? Just curious! Personally I wouldn’t want suede anything in my car but to each their own 😊 I will say that it doesn’t look nice!
I agree: I hate suede as well. Big price for suede liner and accents IMHO.

I got over $10k under MSRP just from negociations for my ‘19 z06/07 3LZ that I bought the year before its own model year. It was a factory order as well. Best advice I could give you is to tell dealerships you are not wasting their time, that you will buy and that you will do so from whoever is offering you the best price. Also let them know you have been looking through a few dealerships. Best chances with the smaller ones as it not only gives them the profits but also more allocations for the year to come.

Edit: I didn’t think much of suede either at first but now I wouldn’t do without !

WOW!! And still making money at that discount?
actually its $18k off and its been this price since november. Where we bought our gs. Serious buyers can likely squueze a little more discount.

Crazy! If I was buying a C7 I'd be buying a GS 2LT loaded: best handling corvette as all the reviews I've read.
