Scheduling, preparing tips and information pages, hotels, meal options, routes, maps, links for Park pass, photo-ops - videos, the cute countdown posts, and all the other information that was provided - like "WOW"! - Birthday celebrations for Raelene Cunningham was a special treat from her Corvette Family and Friends. All from different areas, we meet and started out Saturday morning from Hinton AB - Maligne Canyon - cruising past Medicine Lake - Maligne Lake - Jasper - Edith Cavell - Athabasca Falls, crusing past Icefields - and arriving at David Thompson Resort. I think for all of us that took - Edith Cavell for a rip - it was one of the highlights. Many of us (I am sure) were hanging on for dear life as the passenger. LOL!!!! I am also grateful that Marno/Donna Sekora and Darren/Raelene Cunningham were okay after almost being struck on the highway. (I am not sure if anyone else was with you - (if so we are thankful that nothing happened). I do believe that 31 or so people attended this event - and friendships new and old, young and old (hee..heee...!) were made - tons of laughter - smiles - and enjoying life to it's fullest. We all chatted around the Bon-fire with marshmallows and you know - just good ol' fashion fun! In the morning we all headed out to Abraham Lake and hung out - some going different way's and saying our goodbye's. A event that no doubt everyone will remember - Thanks to all of you - for making this a great time., and letting Daryl and myself join in. Please note if I missed anything or anyone - I want you know I truly did try to capture the events that unfolded.
