Lol... An NPP exhaust is more than noise... the system also optimizes the air-fuel ratio in the combustion stage for that increased HP and added fuel economy... The added sound is just an ear candy bonus....
Not at all trying to be argumentative. Didn’t really know but a 1.02% increase in HP isn’t a great amount. Took a look of course out of curiosity….below this paragraph is a pretty good article from Hagerty .
The NPP exhaust system in the C8 Corvette primarily affects exhaust sound and flow rather than significantly changing engine operation. It adds about 5 horsepower and a similar small torque increase by reducing exhaust backpressure when the valves are open, improving exhaust flow and slightly enhancing performance. However, this power increase is relatively modest and generally not strongly felt during everyday driving.
The engine itself operates normally with or without the NPP valves open, as the system is designed to switch modes based on throttle and RPM conditions or driver-selected modes to control sound and exhaust flow. The valves also open briefly on startup to warm catalytic converters for emissions purposes.
In summary, the NPP exhaust enhances sound character and slightly improves performance without substantially altering core engine operation or durability. It offers a dynamic exhaust note and minor power gain but does not fundamentally change how the engine runs .

Correct. Although I'm surprised your GS and SS wouldn't have had the performance exhaust which brought the HP up to 460.
You are correct as always! :) Both had/have the performance exhaust. I have difficulty to find the extra five hp but i do like the exhaust note.
