Well at least he didn't smoke the clutch but I'm sure this will cost as much. I still maintain that burnout contests are for pickup trucks and cars that you couldn't care about.
That video makes me sad and reminds me of the one where they rev the crap out of a C4
corvette and they add water with the engine oil to burn it out. (US, cash for clunkers)
I get it now. In trading in your car under the cash for clunkers program they seize the engine so it cannot be used again. Still a stupid program. I know of some places that would crush the vehicles. If they separated the classic vehicles from the regular junk, I would not be so disappointed by it.
I know that program was crazy, tons of engine burnup videos on Youtube.
After they are done it would just be a big chunk of melted metal under the hood.
